 I am Angela Langford - and here's my philosophy
I always use high quality natural and where possible, organic ingredients. I use no parabens, no petrochemicals, no synthetic fragrances, colours or other skin nasties. My natural skin care products are tested on my friends, my family and myself – never on animals.
All my products are lovingly made by hand in Somerset, England in small batches. Where possible, I use airless packaging which prevents contamination and also means there’s no wastage because the packaging pushes out every last drop of cream, serum or balm.
 I have tried, tested & tweaked
I have spent the last two years working on the Angela Langford natural skincare range. I have had the good fortune to be trained by one of the best industry experts who has worked with some of the leading natural skincare brands in the business.
Family, friends and friends of friends have kindly tested each and every one of my products and given me honest and impartial feedback. This process has enabled me to refine & tweak my formulas resulting in a finished range that people genuinely enjoy and that love the positive effect the products have on their skin.
Of course this also means that some of my natural skin care products are still in development and I won’t bring them to market until I am completely satisfied with the quality and effectiveness of a product. So this means devising, testing, reformulating, retesting – and this process continues until the product is right.
I want to be up-front and honest
Many skincare companies blind us with science, confuse us and often over complicate things to make them sound like miracles. I prefer to take a straightforward, honest approach so you will find quite detailed information about each of the ingredients that are in my products and more importantly, an explanation about why I have selected each ingredient and what the benefits of each are. I try to do this in plain and simple English without over complicating things.
I've gone the extra mile
I have researched each and every ingredient contained in my products to ensure they are fit for the job. Each raw material has been selected for its unique natural skin care properties – wh ether it is anti-ageing, rejuvenating, healing, calming, soothing. In addition, I have formulated each product to suit and to treat particular skin types.
I think I have a unique approach
I have developed a unique concept that delivers a far greater concentration of active raw materials than a traditional anti-ageing moisturizing cream does.
The nature of a traditional cream is a combination of oil and water soluble products that are brought together with an emulsifier. By its very nature, this means that cream products alone can only deliver a certain percentage of active raw materials.
In order to deliver more concentrated levels of naturally active ingredients (including vitamins, minerals & anti-oxidants) I recommend using my two stage approach: This involves applying a specialist skin serum that will moisturise, hydrate & plump your skin; followed by a face oil that is high in vitamins, anti-oxidants and essential oils.
There are two serums and two oils to choose from and you select which serum and oil combination you want based on your skin type, skin concerns and the condition of your skin.
Both serums are largely based on organic flower waters, herbs, water soluble vitamins, Hyaluronic Acid and other water soluble ingredients. They have been made using an organic cold emulsifier – which allows me to make the products without using any heat – thereby protecting all the active properties in the serum. The face oils contain high levels of oil soluble vitamins, anti-oxidants, oils high in omega 3, 6 and essential fatty acids. In both cases, the essential oils have been carefully selected to heal, nourish, protect, repair & improve the appearance, tone & texture of your skin.
