A belated Happy New Year to you!
We of course say 'Happy' New Year, but it seems that 2021 has taken the reigns from 2020 and continued the heartache and misery for all of us in the UK. Who would have thought in January last year, that we would not only be in a lockdown this January - but the third version of it?
We'd also like to apologies for the lack of contact from us during the last few weeks. The end of November and December was the busiest we have ever been, added to the fact that the pandemic has meant issues with the Royal Mail; or difficulties getting ingredients in; or bottles and packaging being stuck at borders, etc - like so many small businesses out there, it has been a tough time.
Lee and I desperately needed some time off in between Christmas and New Year to recharge the batteries - so thank you to those of you who have been patiently waiting for the parcels or emails to be replied to during this time.
So, as I write this blog to you, the whole of the UK is now in Lockdown 3.0 and here in Wales, we have been in Tier 4 since the Saturday before Xmas.
Lee and I had been working hard right up until the very last minute for parcel deadlines, to get as many presents and gifts out to you and your loved ones in time for the big day. But of course, that means our own Xmas shopping starts later than most people - and it happened to be the day lockdown was sprung upon us.
The news came through at 5pm, in a local town's fruit and veg shop, to the shock and upset of staff and customers in there - no more shops from midnight that night. So what to do? Buy what is there in the shop of course, we didn't really have any other option.
Suffice to say, Lee and I have never received so many wrapped up pieces of fruit and veg for Xmas, ever!
Joking aside, Lee and I are very lucky indeed - we have a business and we have each other (and the doggies) to keep ourselves company (or drive each other mad!) - but for many of us, it is hard to be alone.
So we just wanted to say we are here to help. We of course would love to hear from you if you have any questions about my skincare recipes; or if you have a particular skin issue you'd like some advice on.
But if you would just like a chat - then we are here for you.
You can call me anytime on (01348) 811711, or you can email me at email@example.com. I am always here for you.
Looking to 2021 in a positive manner, we have some exciting news this month coming up - Scrub Up should, finally be available again! If you haven't done so already, pop your email address on the Scrub Up page so that when the first batch has been made and Lee adds it onto our website, you will get an email to let you know.
I'm also hoping to tweak and refine my new hand balm recipe in the next few weeks. I thought I was there with it, but I changed my mind and have a few extra ingredients that I would like to try out first. It's got to be right for you.
I also think I have chosen the name for the hand balm too - but more on that later!
Is there a new product that you would like to see me make? I always love to hear your suggestions on new products, so feel free to drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
So it just leaves me now to say, from Lee and I, a huge thank you for your support during 2020 and so far in 2021 - I absolutely love my job and if any of you need any help whatsoever, or simply just a chat, I am always here for you.
With my bestest wishes,
