Where has the time gone? I can’t quite believe we are only a few weeks away until the big day and it’s starting to feel festive at Angela Langford HQ. We’ve gift wrapped many presents already and packed them off for Santa to deliver on the big day. Maybe one of them has your name on it?
If like me you are still looking for gift ideas for your friends and family, the gift of great skin always goes down well. Help is at hand: If you’re not sure which natural skincare product would be best for your wonderful Mum, your gorgeous Gran or a fabulous friend, get in touch and I’ll happily help. We also offer gift vouchers that we can wrap prettily with a few little samples for an extra treat.
Whilst the festive season can be a time of love, fun and laughter it can sometimes be tiring, stressful and one to many eggnogs can leave your skin looking the worst for wear.
So keep your skin merry & bright with these top tips…
Try, try, try to cleanse your skin every night before bed. You might be tempted to reach for the wipes or just roll into bed but your skin will thank you in the morning if you take a few minutes to remove your make-up and wash away daily dirt and grime.
Make time for massage. Facial massage is brilliant for boosting radiance. It stimulates blood flow which in turn gives skin a lovely luminosity and keeps your skin glowing and bright. Ideally massage with either a face oil or a balm – allowing the natural and organic oils to nourish your skin and be well absorbed into your skin.
We often focus on our face but don’t forget your body. At this time of year our skin can become a lot dryer so make sure you slather on the butter. Not the kind you put on your toast for breakfast, but vegetable and fruit based organic body butters like Cocoa, Mango, Shea and Avocado are all really nourishing and will take your arms and legs from snake skin to silk in a matter of minutes.
Sometimes a lotion is not enough but a pure body butter is too much - so why not opt for something in between like rich and nourishing natural body butter creams. Creams fragranced with essential oils not only smell gorgeous but also have mood-boosting properties. Lavender, chamomile and neroli are all relaxing and great for reducing stress; whilst citrus and spicy oils are warming and can help to boost circulation.
Here’s wishing you a fabulous and fun-filled season of festivities. Enjoy yourselves and don’t forget to remove your make-up before bed!
