can you give me a helping hand x

Where has the Summer gone?

Well for us at least, it feels like the last four months in lockdown have flown by and we can’t believe we’re almost at the end of July and hurtling into August.

We try and email you every month with news, recipes and tips so we’re very sorry for the lack of this in recent months but look out for a newsletter next weekend – including details of a new hand balm recipe I have been working on (for which I need your help with! See the end of this blog post for a little bit more on this).

In the meantime we wanted to say hello, check you are all okay and let you know that we are still here for you.

Thank you very much, thank you very, very very much...

Thank you for being so patient. Lee and I hate running out of stock and making you wait for your orders but lockdown and Covid has meant that some ingredients and some packaging has been difficult to get source - and then when you do find them, the delivery times have been taking longer too.

So this has resulted in delays in the service we can provide to you – sometimes lengthy ones – so thank you for being so wonderfully kind and patient too.

I have spent a lot of this week in my lab making and bottling products as deliveries of ingredients and packaging have arrived. Meanwhile Lee has been busy labelling products, wrapping and sending out orders as quickly as possible.

So right now there is fresh stock of my natural face mask, Look on the Bright Side; my balancing and cleansing face washSweet Cheeks; my nourishing eye oil, Angel Eyes; my award winning facial oil, Bloom & Glow; and my hydrating face tonic, Freshen Up.

Unfortunately I am still out of stock for one of my skincare recipes - Scrub Up. I have been searching high and low one of its key ingredients without much luck - but I am hoping that I have found a new, reliable source which will arrive in the next couple of weeks - meaning my natural facial exfoliator will be back on sale in August.

In the meantime, if your skin is looking dull and a bit lack-lustre and you’re needing to exfoliate, try using my face mask Look on the Bright Side with some Tone Up and a drop of Bloom & Glow mixed in - this makes a wonderful weekly treatment.

You asked, we listened...

Many of my lovely customers have been in touch over the last few months to tell me they would love (and desperately need) something to treat their poor hands.

The pandemic has meant we are all now constantly washing our hands and sanitizing them - often leading to sore, dry and cracked skin.

I have therefore been working on a new recipe just for you and your hands... but I need your help naming it!

My new natural hand balm should be ready in the next few weeks. I’m putting the finishing touches to the recipe and this week I am finalising the packaging for it - but as it stands, I still don't have a confirmed name.

So can you give me a helping hand?

The hand balm will be ultra-nourishing and great for healing, but can also protect your skin from more damage.

In the recipe itself, there is going to be tomato, coriander, papaya - lots of great ingredients that can help heal and nourish.

So what do you think it should be called?

If you have a name in mind for it, why not leave a post on my Instagram Page, or post on my Facebook page?

We've already had some amazing suggestions, but we can always have some more! So please get in touch if you do – I’d love to hear your ideas.

I'm just a phone call away...

Well that’s enough wordy-ness from me for now! I’ll be back in touch next weekend with more news about my new natural hand balm recipe - but in the meantime, I am here to help you and your skin.

If you have a question or query for me; if you would like to place an order over the phone; or if you would just like a chat - you can call me today on 01348 811711.

Alternatively you can email me at [email protected] and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

And of course you can still contact us via our Live Chat button, or via our Social Media pages on Facebook or Instagram.

Thank you...

Lee and I want to thank you for your continued support, encouragement, patience and understanding.

As a very small business, it means so much to us to have such loyal customers - but in these uncertain times, it now means more than it ever did.

Please keep calm, please keep safe and please keep in touch x
